Anyone else thinking of taking the trip to the Houston College Classic in Minute Maid Park to see LSU take on: Houston, Baylor, and Nebraska?

Only games within a reasonable distance from me are at UGA and USCe. I'll make those trips if I can.

I have been looking for tickets online can't fine them anywhere. Would love to get passes and see all these great match-ups. Should be a great experience for college baseball fans to see quality baseball. Thinking about surprising my dad with some tickets.

I'm sure you have to go through the Astros ticket office. They probably wouldn't have anything for sale until after the first of the year.

Devall is too valuable to the bullpen.

I agree and it's nice to have a lefty come out when you need him, but I think he has the stamina and the talent to be in the rotation. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw him start in some of the early season games.

I almost think Devall might have a good chance to be the closer. He will certainly have a premier role out of the bullpen. I don't think he has a chance to be a starter-- not saying that he couldn't.

Poche
Godfrey
Lange/Latz

But it is still a little early to really know the progression of some of these young guys.

I think Devall was competing for the closing job last year at the beginning of the season, so you may be right.
