Baseball postseason predictions

We need some more baseball threads. How far do you think the tigers go in the postseason?

Agreed. Though I do believe they have the ability to repeat. Only a few question marks. Major ones being in pitching. Hopefully Bradshaw, Matulis, and others can step up. I'd also like to see how PM uses Ott.

Your right. If some guys in the bullpen can step up, we have a great chance if repeating.

i think we'll have more guys that can contribute out of the bullpen. ott has to have a great year. setup man will be bradshaw IMO. think rittner has a shot to be a matchup guy late in the game. ranaudo, matulis, and ross weekend starters. joey bourgeois in the mix for midweek starter. could add some nice depth to the pen as well. tons of 2nd and 3rd year arms to add to pen as well.
i like our chances to be more athletic on basepaths this year. need to find some more pop in the lineup. we will be loaded with great conact hitters. mahtook, hanover, dean, gibbs, nola, landry, delatte, gaudet(dh), watkins .... just a possible lineup. can't see watkins starting at leadoff....could make his way up there though. would probably be more beneficial to have mahtook 2nd anyway.

I think if they can make it into the top 4 in the SEC regular season or tourney then we will most likely host a regional. If that happens then anything is possible when you get to host !!!

The only part I disagree with is Ga Tech going to the CWS. Another SEC team will be there, not just LSU.

i will be disappointed with anything less than omaha, and if we get that far who knows what will happen. can't wait. 3 more weeks!!!
