Baseball Hype?

Do you think that the baseball team will and can live up to the hype they are getting bc of the previous year? With the thrilling finshes last year can the baseball team top that this year?

It's always hard to live up to a number 1 ranking, but we have a senior ball club and if the pitching ends up being solid there shouldn't be any team we can't beat with our lineup.

i think we can challenge for the title.unc is tough too though.last year we had them beat before the rain.

Yes Chad Jones will be in the lineup. He should be exciting to watch this year.

I think we will be as good as expected. I think our hitting will be better, or at least more well rounded, than last year and I think our pitchers will step up and grow up quickly. We're set for a great season.

Gotta find a way to replace the run production that matt clark brought to the table......weekend rotations should be solid and if coleman can shore up the late relief I think our staff could be outstanding which should help if we can't get all the runs that we got last year. I think we will be solid preseason #1 good possibly

The only way a team can live up to being ranked #1 is to win the CWS. However, if LSU just made it there and was able to win a couple games, I would definitely still call the season an overall success
