How has the draft affected LSU. I know Fraley is gone, but what commits are we losing?

TIA

Riley Pint is as good as gone, but that was well known before yesterday.

True, but who do you think will pick him up?

Sucks for LSU, but who can blame him. He will do well at the next levels. Best of luck mr. Fraley

I'm looking at the age of some of the players drafted. I'm at that age where kids a few years younger than me are being drafted

It's just weird to see kids born in 1998 signing MLB contracts. That's crazy. Good for these kids

I take it Pint and Fraley are the only 2 LSU-related players taken so far...?
Wasnt Nonie projected high at some point?

Yeah, so far only Pint and Fraley as it pertains to LSU. Nonie Williams is projected pretty high, based on his local TV interview that was linked yesterday it's likely that he's gone no matter where he's picked. Strange things happen though. He is a home schooled kid that reclassified to make himself eligible for the draft a year early, so I wouldn't get my hopes too high. I think if it came down to him not getting drafted he'd end up at San Jac or Chipola instead of LSU.

ETA: The JUCO part is pure speculation on my part, I have no inside info.

God I hate the MLB draft. Why can't baseball and basketball go by the same rules as the NFL? I mean I do get it. It's hard to turn down the money. I guess it's the selfish Tiger fan in me saying this

With as few players that ultimately make it in MLB, you would think there would be a bigger push to go to a 1 or 2 and done. Don't think this will ever change though.

I would honestly like to see the bust rate of college picks in rounds 1-10 vs. high school picks in rounds 1-10. Would be interesting to see.

Fraley must have already worked out a deal to be saying he's definitely gone. It seems like it would have wanted some leverage for more money even if he was definitely leaving.

What time does the draft start again today? Don't want to lose Kramer and Newman

Thanks 1977. Now are you going to ever tell me about what you knew with the Tyler Moore situation? You and Ell got into a pissing contest the other day and never explained your source on that situation.
