It is ridiculous for LSU fans to think LSU does not deserve to be in a regional. In 2008, Fresno State ended their season at 33-27, and won the College World Series. LINK
LSU has been hot its last 13 games, and it has a 36-20 record in the elite SEC, which is quite a bit better than the WAC. If LSU is not included, then “we was robbed.”
It is ridiculous for LSU fans to think LSU does not deserve to be in a regional. In 2008, Fresno State ended their season at 33-27, and won the College World Series. LINK

FWIW. Kendall Rogers formerly of Rivals and now from Perfectgame.org just answered my question twitter. He also said LSU at the A&M regional.

I would actually have a fair level of confidence of our chances to get to Omaha if this were the case. Couldn't have worked out better.

Charlottesville, Chapel Hill, Gainesville, Tallahassee, and Fullerton all have cupcake Regionals. I'll take a 2 seed in College Station.

RPI wise not really. any 1 seed getting LSU as a 3 cannot be pleased (as opposed to the other 3 seeds nationally).
therefore I look for us to be either be paired w/ a weak 2 or as a 2 @ nat. seed (UT?).
