Does he start this year and where do you think he bats in the lineup? He has a great arm and is a very good athlete from what I have seen. His throw in the SEC Champ game was awesome.

I think I understand what this means and if I do it's not accurate. He has a legit shot at being an everyday starter.

yea you can tell you have followed this team...

He will start in either right or left. Look for him to bat in bottom half of the lineup. PM was quoted saying he was one of the most improved players from last year to this year.

I don't know what the lineup will be 2/14 and later, but right now he's the first team LF.

If he's not the everyday starter in LF, he will atleast start every game against against a LHP

That is great. The baseball guys on here really know their stuff, for the most part. You responded to the wrong post I think.

Do any of the freshman have an arm? If not he needs to start because he's the only one.

Mainieri wants fast outfielders. He's sacrificed arm strength for that. No one's had an arm besides Foster and Edward the last two plus seasons.

Foster has a good arm and should play RF, imo.

For whatever arm strength Katz had it was sacrificed by his poor field awareness in 2012. He was much better at 1st.

Well Alex Edward was much better sitting on the bench, but you listed him.

Edward was a beast in 2010. Plus he saved the Oregon State regional game. ANY QUESTIONS

Has nothing to do with how shitty of an athlete in the field he was.
