Where was Houston when Wisconsin started a free safety at qb?

I heard he has already signed stalking charges against Arden Key

It's "Bart Houston", not Huston

Where was he?
How could he not beat McAvoy out in his 3rd year in the program? I skeptical of this guy being worth a damn.
I think the game will be close fwiw

This might be an even crowd split. Depends on how many Packer tickets LSU fans bought.
Atmosphere for LSU will not be a problem.

Yeah, but with the recent situation down here, and another one possible next week, it's not known how the LSU crowd will be effected.

Ok, so let's hear your lineup Wisconsin players in the NFL... Make a starting lineup on offense and defense.....
QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Melvin Gordon
WR - Jared Abbrederis*
WR - Alex Erickson*
OT - Joe Thomas
OG - Kevin Zeitler
C - Travis Frederick
OG- Kraig Urbik
OT- Ricky Wagner
TE - Garrett Graham
TE- Lance Kendricks
DE - JJ Watt
NG - Beau Allen
DE - Nick Hayden
OLB - Jonathan Casillas
ILB - Joe Schobert
ILB - DeAndre Levy
OLB - Matt Shaughnessy
CB - Marcus Cromartie
FS - Chris Maragos
SS - Dezmen Southward*
CB - Darius Hillary*
P - Brad Nortman
* Denotes non-starters. Clearly we are weak at WR and DB. What's LSU's best NFL lineup?

Atmosphere?
Think back to the best attendance you've ever seen at your own stadium.....
Which team brought that?
Now multiply that by 20. That is what we bring to AWAY games like this.

Houston is a prototypical pocket passer and Gary Andersen made it clear at the outset he was looking for a dual-threat QB. McEvoy could run extremely well but threw like shite. Houston was definitely not a fit for Andersen's system and he also had some shoulder issues which hindered his progress.

Timeout. You said Russell Wilson is white
Posted on 8/26/16 at 1:24 am to HailHailtoMichigan!
Worst thing because he is a sitting duck. I really think the Badgers are going to be disappointed when they can't run on LSU, and Houston with no mobility is just chum in the water to guys like Key and Beckwith.

and as long as he doesn't turn the ball over
I think he throws 2-3 picks in this game. LSU has a bunch of ballhawks in the secondary and houston doesn't have much zip. he throws some wobbly passes sometimes from the videos i've seen.

McEvoy is a Tight End undrafted with the seahawks fighting for a job right now.
He was so terrible at QB that they made him switch to the defense at free safety at UW.
and yet, he still beat out bart houston for the job. how is that even possible?

Driftless is clearly trolling, but this is a question that there is no answer for. Every neutral observer of that camp came away saying Stave was the clear starter, McEvoy was intriguing as a runner but there was no way he was a B1G QB. Suffice it to say, Andersen is now at Oregon St because UW's admission standards were too high for him, true story, and no one is sorry he is gone.
Houston is nothing special but Chryst will have him serviceable by gametime. I have no doubt he will put together a better night than McEvoy did two years ago.

I wouldn't rely on the video too much with him. He has only really played in one game, Illinois last year, and it was crazy windy. He actually has a pretty solid arm and has by far the most zip of any QB on the team. Decision making has been his limiting factor so far.

You can make the actual depth chart however you like..
Some of the guys you mentioned are not even starters.. like Maragos is 3rd on the depth chart. Most of the guys without a * are actual starters in the NFL right now
