Barry's 2,628

Any way LF7 breaks the single season rushing record this year or next year?

The NCAA didn't begin including bowl game statistics until 2002, but with 222 yards and five touchdowns in the Holiday Bowl against Wyoming, he totaled 2,850 yards and 44 touchdowns. No player since has come close to touching either mark.
No way he comes anywhere near that....even though LF gets to play more games in a season.

Why? If we make the playoffs? No?
He would get the extra game he may need to have 11 with Barry Sanders.

No. They will rotate the backups in more often and the level of competition will rise as the season progresses.

No. That's absurd to even think that's a viable option.

14 games x 210 ypg = 2940, if my math is correct!

He would have to avg about 240 a game. That's based on 11 games. It goes down to about 220 a game based on 12 games including the SEC Championship Game. And I don't know if the bowl games stats count, but if they do, then he would have to avg 203 a game for 13 games, and if they go to the National Championship Game, as Lee Corso and Kirk erbstreit believe, the magic number would be for 14 games to average 188 yards a game.
It's Do able in my opinion. He's already at 219 a game. But I know he might not rush for that amount in every game, but he'll make it up against the weaker teams.
