Your reading comprehension needs a bit of work.
I read both of your links and they are, just like we here are, talking about scenarios to get to the playoff.
The overriding theme is that they "need to win out", not "we are going to win out."

What about Wisconsin, Georgia, Tennessee and A&M....those are ALL quality opponents. I wish the Tigers well in T-town Saturday night, but somehow I can't be too optimistic. When Bama is at their best, they really scare me.

Like every other fanbase, the Tide has some sh*t talkers. Nothing unusual that I can see. They hope they beat us and hope Arky and Ole Mrs beat us too. The 'Tide fans I know are all very apprehensive about this year's LSU team. Most feel like 'Bama has not beaten a team as good as Florida. I agree with them. Florida is the third best team in the SEC this season by a wide margin.

I did laugh at that. I also agree with one of them that said bama needs to go to the SEC championship game to get in if Stanford wins out. No way Bama gets in if Stanford wins out.
