I realize this poster is a Bama fan, but what he said here isn't false.
Kiffin to LSU is a lateral move, and there's just no reason for Kiffin to make that move (other than a big raise). His stock is very high after 3 great years at Bama and he shouldn't want to risk it with a brand new OC gig at LSU.
My belief is that if Kiffin doesn't get a HC job this year, he goes back to Bama for another year.

Actually i think Kiffin has to get away from Bama to prove he's a grown-up. Sure he's done ok at Bama with Saban's foot up his arse.(aside from an occasional twitter-fight) But how would he do on his own? I think he still has that to prove before getting a P5 HC job. His play-calling was never a question, just his maturity. LSU would give him that opportunity.
ps: i dont like or want Kiffin. I think he brings too much baggage and think O will let him run wild and it will bite us. but he is a great play caller and has done a great job at Bama making mediocre QBs look good. Exactly what LSU has been missing.
Any Bama fan that says they wont miss Kiffin is blinded by their own success. I guarantee you Saban knows LSU is an OC/mediocre QB away from being a contender. Not saying he's scared of LSU, but he certainly respects LSU. Notice how their bye week is always the week before LSU, and how hard he recruits LA, and how his teams are always ready and amped up to play LSU. Bama cant say that about Ole miss, etc as this guy claims...

Hard to believe that from '00 to '11 we were 9-3 against them. Beat them 5 straight years from '03 to '07. Then of course 1/9/12 happened. Since then, who cares. Everything is cyclical. We'll see. From what I'm hearing, there's a very good chance he ends up in Baton Rouge. Orgeron and Kiffin are close friends. Plus, LSU will give him a pay raise to come here. That's a bonus considering he won't have to work for that asshat Saban anymore.

Don't give a single frick if he leaves. Bama wins on the back of a great defense and the talent surrounding a freshman QB who can barely throw it a lick downfield. You can have that narcissistic headache. Please take him.

I pray he gets the jib at USF. There's better young and talented OC's other than Kiffin. I simply dont want his arse. This program needs someone who will bring forth stability. Not someone who gonna stay one or two years max. To be honest I seriously dont know what's all the damn hype is about. frick Kiffin. Give me Heflich or Riley.

In a game where LSU had EVERYTHING going for it. New practice schedule, changes to the Offense, a new coach, a new QB, players who were jacked, an extra week off (that worked out well didn't it?), The mystique of a night game in Death Valley w/ an rejuvenated and energized fan-base.
In other words, all the things I USED to respect of LSU.

A freshman QB beat you. One which many of you said was not very good.
If Kiffin (who has at more toys in the toy-box to play with than any other) comes to LSU, what does he get? Other than Guice, I'm not seeing it yet.
