Interesting to read how they think we dont' match up against them. Both teams rely on defense to wear the opponent down in fourth quarter. I think we are pretty evenly matched. Will boil down to breaks, turnovers, who wants it bad enough IMHO.

FWIW, I am a fan of LSU and don't think Bama matches up to us...and we possess the X Factor: 'THE HONEY BADGER'

Here's to hoping Ole NS pulls a ULM or something.........would love to see them slip up and lose before us.

Listen to Feincrap, every single caller thinks they've already won the national championship.
4 weeks ago, LSU's defense was "great". SI comes out with the Alabama is the greatest defense EVER, and every delusional bama fan has sewn it up already.

I think we have two X-factors: Jordan Jefferson and Brad Wing

lol, "delusional bama fans"..... Have you looked at your own board lately. BOTH fan bases claiming the same thing. "We have the best team".. It's called being a fan and having confidence in your team. As for me I think both teams are very good and whoever plays better on Nov. 5 will win the game and go on to play for the Championship...

As much as neither fan base wants to admit both of these teams are very similar. Going to be a great game

What kills me is how the person said teams were making noise in the 4th against LSU, but he called it garbage time yards for Bama. What a big time homer.

Playing on paper don't mean shite.

Hope this quote from their board get Honey Badger mad enough to spit nails. Obviously they don't give us much respect.
"…Mathieu, Mathieu… Oh, what a fate for yon bleach-blonde! After dying his hair to its original color, he checks into not only the witness protection program, but also into the Betty Ford Clinic where he spends the twilight of his days reminiscing on “how sweet shite was on November 4th…” and how much he enjoyed his bad-arse rep before having his dignity taken away by some angered siege engine named “Jalston,” who (in mop-up duty) handed Mathieu’s virgin arse to him on a plate with a grin and a “Roll Tide” wrapped neatly in an unmistakable, jack-hammer-like stiff-arm that set poor Mathieu’s development back a decade…"

That shite is dense.

Alabama fans may have CONFIDENSE in their team, it's not the same, because LSU fans have confidence in theirs. Just sayin'!

Much more acceptable for them than for us, as their schedule between now and then is a lot easier than ours

This
For 2 teams that are practically mirror images of each other it is funny either fanbase can emphatically say the other team doesn't match up well to them.
On paper it should be 10-7, 7-6 type of game. With the secondaries neither team should have a great passing game. Bama is more physical up front and will pressure the QB. The one thing that worries me is our D (built for speed) against their physical running game. We don't do ANYTHING offensively that will scare Bama. I believe we will see a lot of punts in that game. Special teams will be huge.

Keep this post so we can send it back after the game is over and they are left speechless as to how it happened.
My only concern is our ability to tackle CONSISTENTLY. When our guys think about it, they make sure tackles, but we do have a tendency to play weeks where this is a concern. This week, UT, Bama and UA are the games where this will bite us in the arse.

I disagree in regard to QB's
McCarron is horribly inaccurate even when he isn't under duress. He will have VERY little margin for error.
Our QB's may not be the best, but they have both a lot of experience and both have seen an Alabama defense before, so they know exactly what they will be up against.
Significant advantage for LSU

The difference in the two teams are the coaches and how they prepare for these games.
Saban will overdo the practices leading up to the game trying to get everyone to perfect "The System". They won't make many mistakes as a result but they will be tired.
Les will with two weeks leading up to it work his guys up to a fever pitch that explodes the moment they step on that field. They'll get more penalties, but this game is going to come down to turnovers, and we're going to win that.
LSU by 2.
