First post so don't take it too hard on me.

My first team is Bama but my second favorite team is LSU. Have family in both NO and BR and spent a lot of my youth in NO. Love the rivalry.

Heard some sports guy the other day trying to figure out what is going on with the LSU offense. His opinion was that LSU was depending too much on LF and thus not developing or relying the passing game.

LSU has the talent to do both but somehow doesn't use or develope it. Look at Bama last year. They had a great running back in Henry but also developed a great passing game using Ridley and other receivers.

LSU has got to change the offense. Three yards and a cloud of dust is not going to make it these days.

This has been said for 5 years. Les will never change. To change the offense is to change the head coach.

Thanks for your brilliant insight. No one here thought of that. If only you'd come here a few years ago we could have been saved a lot of heartache.

Now THIS is a fresh perspective. Thank you for your valuable outside view. Seriously hard-hitting, well researched, and beautifully written.

I can't believe it took an outsider and a new poster to bring this type of thing up. We have too many people here that can't see the forest for the trees. We are all too close to the fire, too emotionally invested, and too blinded by our love for LSU to see the real problems you've so brilliantly put forth here.

Thanks!!!!

The game is changing especially on offense. Saban realized he had to adapt and did and is still dominating. Les hasn't and wont and it will cost him his job

Or, this guy is so humble and naive he just doesn't believe "we know".

Welcome.

Best answer is, no one knows. We do know Miles runs the offense but outside of that

How does this work? I don't even have a second favorite team but if I did it sure wouldn't be an SEC school.

He thinks the problem is that we depend on Fournette too much, but the problem dates to way before that. Miles just depends on the running game to much period.
