Bama baseball announcers can't comprehend simple math

The announcers for the Bama- Vandy game keep saying if Vandy loses this game (against Bama) LSU will have a chance to win the SEC championship outright later tonight as if we are somehow behind Vandy in the standings and don't control our own destiny? Maybe we should just give them the benefit of the doubt that their bias is coming through against LSU.

SEC network + on watch ESPN app but it's also apparently the Bama radio network on the play by play.

They have repeated it over and over throughout the broadcast. It is aggravating as hell

The girl back at SEC network HQ brought the boom immediately afterwards though totally contradicting what the Bama local announcers had just saying and laying down the BOOM saying "LSU SEC CHAMPS"!!!!! Made the Bama guys look like total assclowns.

I heard the SEC Network announcers say that all game too, was thinking , "um , do you know how baseball standings work? Don't you?"

If those were Vandy guys that makes them look even worse I mean you would think they actually keep up with that kinda of stuff like standings and could calculate simple math percentages. I mean you represent freaking Vandy geez.
The homer excuse doesn't really work either because again what they saying simply was not reality and the crew back at HQ having to correct them 10 seconds later makes Jim Hawthornes worst on-air mistake ever look like nothing cause they wernt just doing it once they said it all game.
