I understand the rationale, it's a just a fan preference. It just feels better to see LSU win a title by winning a game rather than by another team losing.

You would think who ever is starting would need to know and be into their routine by the time this game is over anyway.

Lange is going to pitch the Saturday game in the regional imo. He'll pitch next week as well, but again maybe you limit him. I don't think you want him going two weeks without any live work before pitching in that important of a game.
