So I'm guessing your point is turning doubles into triples and not on hitting homers?
Was looking for a baseball thread to post a good Dellenger story.
A friend of mine works for the revielle and was at LSU baseball interviews today. Apparently, Dellenger had no idea that Minute Maid Park has funky dimensions.
"Wait, so there is a hill that's in play?"

Bigger gaps in right field. More doubles and triples I think

Omg he writes about sports
I think the fact that he makes a living covering baseball is the more inflammatory thing.
But, sadly, it didn't surprise me. Just reading his shite, it was obvious that he is not a baseball guy.

I could sort of overlook that if Minute Maid wasnt the closest major league park to us...or if it didnt have a fricking hill and flag pole in center.

The hill and pole in center field may make for some interesting moments
Meh, there may be one ball hit that far to dead center for the entire weekend.
Have seen many games at MMP. Hitter's park in most aspects. Dead-pull hitters from either side of the plate love it. So do spray hitters with speed. Could see a ton of triples this weekend with the Tigers' team speed; providing they make good contact against good pitching of course. Here's hoping they do.
