I know professional softball will get a lot of jokes but its nice to see former Tigers do well.

Landry hit .348 for the season with 29 runs scored, five home runs and 18 RBI.

Sahvanna Jaquish was also one of the top players in the league this year as well for the Bandits. Another RBI machine for them too.

The NPF championship series is at Tiger Park this weekend and I bet nobody knows about it. There has been zero promotion of it. Not even an article in the paper.

Last I talked with Brittany Mack about it....she wasn't making much. I believe the average salary for the 3 month season is between 5 and 6k. they have to hustle the other 9 months out the year.

Now if you are really good you can go play in japan and make up to 60k a year there.

I saw where Jaquish homered for Chicago... that must have been pretty cool even though her team lost.

that is excellent news...I totally enjoyed watching these ladies play while they were at LSU and wish them noting but the best in their pro careers.

If I am not mistaken Jaquish wants to coach. I think she'll be at Student Coach next spring.

She says she hopes to be back at LSU someday, and that she would love to coach in purple and gold.

She could be bad arse hitting coach I'm sure
