this guy was #6 Pro style.
I looked it up and according to 247 there have only been 4 players (none were QBs) who signed with Wisconsin since Houston signed (2012) that were ranked higher.
It's kind of crazy that he's a R-Senior and hasn't seen much time.

It's damn frustrating is what it is. We can never get a top flight QB to commit, (Russellmania notwithstanding), and when we finally do, he essentially flames out.

To be fair, it's gonna be tough to find anyone to measure up there.

Under Paul Chryst, expect big things from the TE position. He utilizes them better than most coaches in the country.

Not so fast my friend...

You must have never seen our 2 TE I-form on 1st and 10.

So... indefinitely?

Sorry...

Admittedly wasn't thinking that one through.

None of returning running backs is a Melvin Gordon.

Well, of course not! Melvin Gordon had one of the greatest individual seasons in CFB history.

Had he returned for his senior season, and barring injury, it's pretty likely he finishes second all-time in career rushing yards.

Perhaps freshman, Sam Brodner from Glen Ellyn, Illinois might contribute. Probably not in the first game of the season, however

I'd be surprised if Sam Brodner contributes in 2016, especially with Corey Clement, Dare Ogunbowale, Taiwan Deal, and even Bradrick Shaw ahead of him. Brodner will have more of an opportunity in 2017 with Clement and Ogunbowale out-of-the-picture.

One true freshman that I expect to make an immediate impact is Garrett Rand, a four-star out of Arizona. He is the most physically-ready player in the 2016 class. With Arthur Goldberg quitting football due to injuries, we may see Rand battle Jeremy Patterson for reps behind Olive Sagapolu.

It is wild, especially since its been Joel Stave ahead of Bart Houston for most of his time in Madison.

It's never been a question of arm-talent with Houston, but he came from a Veer offense at De La Salle (CA) and has battled consistency issues much of his time in Madison.

Houston stepped in for an injured Stave against Illinois last season and displayed how strong of an arm he has. Some Wisconsin fans even called for Stave to be replaced in favor of Houston, but that was never going to happen. As great as some of Houston's throws were, he also threw two horrid interceptions in the RZ... That won't cut it against teams like LSU, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Michigan.

I'm hoping for a good sound football game from LSU. I really could care less of the score, I just want to see smart defense with awareness and see BH have an efficient game. Of course LF will have a good game but I would love to see Brandon's confidence come in the form of efficient numbers. Not big numbers just solid. That should give us the win by a good margin. We'll see

Hoops what's a good Wisconsin message board you like? I've searched and most talks about basketball, etc.

The three big Wisconsin message boards are Buckyville, The Camp (247), and BadgerNation (Scout).

To a lesser-extent, you'll see minimal activity on The Badgers' Den (Rivals).
