I wanted outdoor daytime baseball in Minute Maid this weekend but it's not looking good.

Don't look at that inaccurate weather.
Check Chron.com the forecast is not even close to that.

I bet roof is open Fri
Probably closed Sat and Sun as their is a chance of showers both days but not in the 80% range at all.

Be thankful it's indoor baseball for those traveling.

I want roof closed, ball travels better and I want to see some home runs.

Last time LSU played under the roof, it was really cold inside. Plan accordingly.

No problem getting the games in. Minute Maid has a retractable roof

WHOA! Really! That's incredible. I hope they remember to close it before the rain starts.

Minute Maid has air conditioning, but no heating system. Consequently, the park tends to stay pretty cold in winter. It may be 70 degrees outside, but it will probably feel like the upper 50s inside, because all that concrete, protected from direct sunlight, warms very slowly. Dress accordingly.

It was chilly two years ago for the Sunday game when the roof was closed. Was overcast for the Saturday game but the roof was open. Was chilly but nice. Bring your jackets if the outside temp is supposed to be below 60.

The roof is hardly ever opened for a game. I'm sure that won't change this weekend.
