And the ones who stuck to their studies and got a degree have nothing to complain about. They literally were given more opportunities to succeed after high school than most 17-19 year olds in this country.

This is true, add that to the fact that a recent former popular LSU football player should have no problem getting hired in BR or Nola.

Ford and Ware. If Les would have used em more, we would have won the national championship last year.

what is the point of a comment like this? Are you saying McKnight is stupid or that a degree from USC is no good or that he didn't graduate?

This was his main reason he stated for going to USC.

They both also got 'plenty of tread on their tires', as they didn't get beaten up having to be an every-down back at LSU.

He couldn't come up with more than a couple of intelligible sentences in the PC but planned on being a broadcast journalist at USC. I guess that's more of a knock on our states education but frick Reggie Bush etc.

Also, if a team keeps a player with 4 or more years experience by Sept. 1st they take a salary cap hit for his entire pay. They can sign them on Sept 2nd and not have to pay the entire salary if they cut him later in the season and not take the hit on the cap as well.

The players Association might want to rethink that one in the next negotiations.

a place where you used to be able to go and get in-depth news and investigative reporting; said reporting that actually used quality jounalists that helped us Americns keep watch on the bad guys in politics and other areas. now, of course, they have let go the good ones and use news services that do the same thing the internet does; that is, use snippet headlines merely to attract "hits" and then contain shoddy, half arse articles. it is a shame and, judging by your reaction and that of most of the younger generation i know, it will be much easier for our freedoms to erode in the future. oh well, i'll be dead.

So what did Reggie Bush and Pete Carroll tell Joe McNight about his football career to get him signed by USC? Now he's got all those USC fans to help him with life after Football.

In other news, John Parker Wilson was also released by the Steelers.....

Didn't know Sarah Jessica Parker was still in the League.

But seriously, now John Parker Wilson can go do what he is meant to do. That name just screams serial killer!
