I found another place to watch LSU games: Frontier bar has a bartender from baton rouge who keeps happy hour going til 9pm and shows the game. I was told he is trying to get LSU fans to come watch with him. Address is 2421 webberville road. Place opens @ 4 pm

Any Tiger fans North? Like going to Shoal Creek, but live north and hate fighting the UT traffic when games are at the same time. Is there any bar/restaurant north where people watch?

Not really. Shoal Creek Saloon is cool, I agree. Only problem is that it gets too packed and there is nowhere to sit if you don't arrive an hour (or more) before the game. I like watching in a little more low-key environment though, where i can focus on the game a little better.

But seriously i pretty much cook it up at the house have a couple TVS going all the time trying to stay out of trouble and actually getting to watch and hear the game..

Yep, I watch it at my house 90% of the time so I can watch and focus on the game. I do get tired of watching it alone sometimes though and it's nice to get out, but most of the time I talk myself out of it. 3-4 hours minimum of crushing beers isn't a great recipe for the 20 minute drive home from Shoal Creek or Lavaca.

Either way, hope your buddies bar has some people show.
