The Zephyrs are having a contest to rename their team. Here are the 7 finalists.
New Orleans Baby Cakes
New Orleans Crawfish
New Orleans King Cakes
New Orleans Night Owls
New Orleans Po'boys
New Orleans Red Eyes
New Orleans Tailgators
I have to say those are awful. I hate to see what the other 1,993 were.
You can vote here, if you would like. Worse options than we have in November.

It should be the Pirogues. That fits in perfectly with the weird arse names minor league clubs have and it's Lousianian.
