This means nothing. So they would have made the field goal earlier.

On second thought, maybe that last second would have been 10 seconds left .

It really wasn't 5 downs though. They messed up on tv. The chains were right all along.

It was 1st & 10 at the 12, so no it wasn't.

What an idiot believing the ESPN monitor. The yardage marker clearly shows that the 1st play on the video was for about 8 yards and it should have been 2nd and 2 from the 12. ESPN said it was 1st and 10 after the 1st play and they were wrong. The second play was for a first down (see the yard marker on about the 10.5 yard line) down to the 8 yard line. Then, the 3rd play on the video was actually 1st and 10. ESPN said it was second and 10. They were wrong. So, no, Auburn did not get 5 downs. TV (and magic) can do strange things to the mind.

The first play after the 1st & 10 on the 12, was a 5 yard run up the middle for a 2nd & 7 on the 9 yard line.

2nd play was a 1-2 yard rush up the right hand side and it went from 2 & 7, to 2nd & goal.

"Third" play was a rush up the B gap for 1-2 yards (should've been 4th down and around 2-3)

4th play was a Sean White scramble to the left side which resulted in a 10, or so yard sack for a loss.

5th play was a FG.

LSU leads 7-6

No magic, just horse shite.

How do they not see that?
