Watching the first two Auburn games it is pretty clear they can't defend the zone read.

Harris looked good running the read option last night in the limited snaps where he kept the ball. Considering this game will be at home with a more favorable environment for audibles and communicating pre-snap, how much do we see the read option next Saturday?

I say LSU puts up 250+ yards on the ground, a good chunk of that coming out of the shotgun on designed runs and zone-read/pass options.

If harris would have kept the ball more on the zone reads last night, whoa.

There were a lot of yards left on the field on those plays. I can see why the coaches wanted to limit the hits on the kid. He played with poise considering how poorly things went in Auburn last year. I'm glad they chose "break him in slowly" considering this was a road game.

Next week, though...
