At what point do you watch a team lose it's 6th in a row, 8th of last 9

By a score of 35 points, the other team goes 19 for 33 from 3 on your home floor and you go "meh, let's see if he can get this ship righted the rest of this year!"

I'm not sure I've seen a team more lost at this point in my entire time watching any LSU sport. The team has quit, the coach quit a long while back, and nobody is at the games.

Just get it over with already LSU admins. You're embarrassing what was left of our basketball program.

Probably around the same time you realize your boss is paying you $750k a year and doesn't give a shite what you do.

Planned on going last night. Decided to stay at the restaurant a little longer instead.

The only way the administration will get the hint is if more people continue to make that same decision.

What was attendance? Are fans still packing it in 4-5k per contest?

ESPN says there were 7,000 people there, but I was at the game and that is no where close to being true

I have this sinking feeling that JJ will be back next year.

PMAC seats just over 13k. No way in hell that thing was over half full.

Better question, how is it possible to recruit the rest of the year? You can't send a lame duck into a living room with that as proof of our coaching ability and try to convince a recruit and his family that he needs to joint that dumpster fire. The recruiting class is done this year, no more positive reason to keep JJ around. Give Livingston a shot to make an impression on his way out. Go ahead and start looking for replacements. The problem is, Aleva is going to come out and say that HE is the search committee. We've seen the ineptitude of his searches.

tickets sold might have been 7,000, but that was probably mostly season ticket holders that didn't show up.

I'm guessing that's all Alleva cares about. Although concession stand sales should be taking a nose dive.

Still amazes me that many people renewed their season tickets after last years debacle and knowing this year would be even worse.

I think you see the administration let JJ have enough rope to hang himself. So, the season gets played out and there might be 1 possible win on the rest of the schedule.

They are what...10-10 now. There are 11 games left and I can see them going 11-20 to finish the season....Maybe the win comes from Auburn...maybe not.

Which one of these teams below can this JJ product beat....considering the levels of ineptitude on defense?

Texas Tech at Lubbock, Texas (United Supermarkets Arena) .

South Carolina * Baton Rouge, La. (Maravich Center)

Texas A&M * Baton Rouge, La. (Maravich Center)

Kentucky * at Lexington, Ky. (Rupp Arena)

Arkansas * Baton Rouge, La. (Maravich Center)

Ole Miss * at Oxford, Miss. (The Pavilion)

Alabama * at Tuscaloosa, Ala. (Coleman Coliseum)

Auburn * Baton Rouge, La. (Maravich Center)

Georgia * at Athens, Ga. (Stegeman Coliseum)

Tennessee * Baton Rouge, La. (Maravich Center)

Mississippi St. * at Starkville, Miss. (Humphrey Coliseum)

You don't think he's hung himself yet? To answer your question....none at this point. I can see a few more 30-40 point losses. Very sad indeed. They need an interim now!

Meaning, that since money being spent is frowned upon at this time at LSU, I think they wait for him to blow the season. The evidence will be there in the wins and loses and harder to ignore. Cut him lose mid season and you give some people room to argue "he coulda turned it around or made it look respectable"...."just a down season"....

The Athletic department funds itself, but spending the money just after firing Les could make some want to hang on to JJ a little longer.

Most other schools, yes, he'd be gone by now.

I hear ya, but this team will not be turned around by JJ. It's not like we're a fringe team....shite, we aren't even competitive. How can he even recruit right now? What does he tell recruits and the family? The buyouts what 800k? I guess they'd have to weigh the loss of revenue to the buyout and see what makes more sense. His tenure is inevitably over.

For me the tipping point really came at Tennessee last year, the game where Johnny sat Ben the first 4 minutes for academic reasons then played him the final 36.

The team absolutely didn't want to be there. The announcers even made somewhat of a big deal about how the team's body language said something was up.

And they played like they didn't give a shite. Only Blakeney played with any pride or fire.

And I thought it could not get worse until the SEC Tourney and A&M, when after sleepwalking through the first half Johnny said at the halftime interview his team played with a lot of energy and the announcers made jokes about that.

I just didn't see any way CJJ could rebound from that and sadly, because he is a good guy, it appears he could not.
