At what point did you quit worrying about "style" points and just want a W?

A. Style points are overrated in the SEC. I'm never concerned with style points. Just win baby.
B. Halftime. First SEC road game, let's just make some adjustments, get the win and get home.
C. End of third quarter. Holy hell this is closer than I would like. I'm nervous... Please just let us win.
D. I'm still concerned with style points (and our lack therof against Auburn). We made too many mistakes, and I am not pleased with the performance.
For me, it was at the end of the third quarter. Seeing that it was basically our first game of the season, and on the road in a hostile environment against a team whose back was against the wall, I abandoned any desire to get style points and just wanted to win the game and get on with our season.
IMO, this would have been a 27-3 type of game if Mettenberger doesn't fumble the sack and giftwrap Auburn's only TD. That was the play of the game IMO and completely pumped life into Auburn and their crowd, giving them all hope. From that point on, it was a classic SEC field-position game between the teams.
I'm glad we got the W...hopefully this road test against a struggling, yet capable, Auburn team will help us in the future (UF, A&M).

Yeah that's true to a point, but when you look like shite in various parts of your game against a shitty team, it makes someone start to worry about what is going to happen when you play a real team.

Auburn game was a time warp to 1/9/2012. Studrawa time shifted to the 5th quarter of 1/9/2012 and called plays just like he was playing Alabama in the 5th quarter. Miles timeshifts into clock mismanagement, and mutiple 15 yard personal foul penalties occur indicating an undisciplined and poorly coached team.

Every season I say the same thing, I will take a 14-0 record with 14 victories by 1 point.
