Of course, 11-0(should be 12-0) would be best case, but I also think if we lose to Bama, we could become despondent like we have in past seasons and lose an additional two ending up at 8-3.

10-1, win at Bama, lose to OleMiss.

LSU goes to the sugar bowl...no SEC team in playoff.

Special teams still scares the crap outta me...

Next three games have potential to be statement games. You come this far, you leave it all out there and see where the chips fall. I like our chances.

Arkansas game scares me the most. I think that win over Auburn did wonders for their confidence.

This readers comment form Dandy Don: "Reader Comment: Scott, I have to take issue with your optimism today. Call me the devil's advocate if you will, but I don't see this team, in its current form as a championship contender. There are just too many weaknesses. Keep in mind that the 2013 team had Zack Mettenberger, Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Hill, and Odell Beckham; and a much better defense, but failed to beat bama. The biggest problems are poor in game coaching and no short to medium passing game. If you look at the teams that beat bama in recent years, they all (A&M, Ole Miss, and Ohio State) utilized a short passing game to spread the field and take advantage of bama's larger and slower LB's and DL. We have never even tried to attack bama's weakness on defense, and we can't even throw a decent screen pass, much less hit a tight end over the middle. Miles and Cameron will beat Fournette against that large and powerful front 7 of bama's and occasionally throw deep. Bama will counter by stacking the line of scrimmage and keeping a deep safety for the long pass. It has worked for them every year. On offense, they will run Henry against our thin DL and LB's and throw crossing routes to Riddley, something that we have show we cannot cover. They'll also throw a good bit to the TE's and RB's, the other thing we don't seem to be able to cover. You need to keep in mind that we haven't played any of the top 3 teams in the SECW other than ourselves. I still think that we are a 9-2 team when it is all said and done, and that is a shame, because the talent is there, but the player development and coaching are not"

11-0
LSU-38
Bama-27

LSU- 45
OM- 31

Ark- 17
LSU- 31

A&M- 13
LSU- 48
We beating bitchez down like they owe us money. Money Mills is back, Tre' White, Lac, & JDM should be back for Bama. Defense gonna get their swag back and the offense is rolling.

Going into the SECCG 11-0 for a rematch with UF. This time the beat down will be monumental.

This sounds eerily correct....hate to say it but I'll probably just record the game and watch it later if we win. Otherwise I'll just delete it from the DVR.

You contradicted yourself when you later said "...the talent is there". Can't have it both ways.

For this type of game - or better yet, for this game, being thin at DL and LB tells me that we are lacking in talent.

We're going to drop 3 of the last 4 and spend all off-season pretending no one drank the kool-aid when we were beating nobody's.

That's actually my strategy for the whole season. I've recorded every game I still haven't watched the Mississippi State game yet and refuse to watch LSU unless they go undefeated.
