Many possibilities. I would think Blakeney would be in the starting 5 no matter what though.

ETA my 5

TQ
Hornsby
Blakeney
Simmons
I'll go Robinson for now. He looked improved last night.

Will be changing every game due to opponant. I think your basic starting lineup will end up being

Blackney
Hornsby
Simmons
Victor
Tq

But we are really loaded with talent and can put a lineup out there that can match the strengths of almost any team. Im even stoked about robinson. He is now a real contributor and will probably be a starter before he graduates.

Coming off the bench

maybe Robinson starts just to give us a traditional lineup at the start of the game and although he looks greatly improved, I don't see him being on the court for the bulk of the game and certainly not at crunch time.

After last night I don't know how Sampson isn't in the starting lineup unless you just want him as a spark plug off the bench. To many good guards, shooting guards/small forwards for me to pick a starting lineup.

I want a lineup of Hornsby, Quarterman, Sampson, Blakney and Simmons, but I guess you really can't go with that can you? 4 off guards and a point forward.

I'm with you. He doesn't have the stamina to give significant minutes with the type of offense we will run. But I do think having him in to start (if he continues to play the way he did last night and keeps improving) will give us a presence inside that we will need when playing bigger teams. I have never seen Victor play, but if he is as good as people say he'll be the guy.

Our best lineup in my opinion, small/long ball.

Simmons
Sampson
Hornsby
Blakeney
Quarterman

But starters will probably be...

Blakeney
TQ

2nd unit...
ER3
Epps
Sampson
Patterson
Gray

Last 2 mins of the game...
Malone
Bridgewater
Eddlestone
Shortess
+whoever else

Yes, the good thing is that even if we are heavy on guards, they are tall guards and a tall point forward. Even when we go small ball we still have pretty good size.

I like that lineup, and I know it is ridiculous to judge after one game, but if you didn't know who the top tier recruit was watching that game you would probably think it was Sampson who was the #2 shooting guard in the country over Blakney. Why not Sampson in the starting lineup? He looked like the second best player on the court last night. He looks like a deadly shooter. Just one game, I know, and I didn't watch any scrimmages or follow them in high school, all I saw was last night.

and not meant as a knock on Blakeny, just that Sampson looked that good.

Blakeney is a better overall player than Sampson right now (rebounding, the strength to get to the basket, etc.) .. Sampson has all the potential in the world though. We are lucky to have them both

Can't agree with that. Sampson looked good, but Blakeney was better last night.
