This is absolutely true. Armand is a kid with tremendous work ethic, good grades, not on drugs, and loves LSU. He competed toe to tow with Jarvis Landry to play. Miles realized that he had recruited too many receivers so he basically told Armand that he would never play a down at LSU. Miles did this to entice Armand to transfer. Armand loves LSU, has strong family support system, and will stay to complete his academic degree.
This is another example of Miles screwing up a good thing. I hope we get rid of the POS Miles soon. Unfortunately, it will take several 6-6 or 7-5 seasons for some LSU fans to wake up to get rid of his sorry a$$.
Thank you Armand #81 for your hard work and support for LSU. You have represented LSU well. Keep up the good work.

Honestly don't see how that can be spun as a negative to miles. The kid had some measurables we took a chance ohim. He's backed up on the depth chart and miles was honest with the kid because he wants him to be able to play. Otoh kid wasnt "processed" no medical injury to gain his roster spot he has a spot and a scholarship if he bleeds that much purple and gold and chooses to stay. Kids in a spot in his career where he needed to make a decision and sounds like miles was up front and honest. Props to miles and props to Armand.

I don't trust Miles as far as I could spit. The guy should be riding the short bus. I guess you think he handled the Jarrett Lee situation well too. This is why it is going to take several bad seasons for you people to wake up. Miles sux.

It's a shame he hasnt got to make his mark yet. The kid is extremely talented and came to LSU on a tougher road than probably most could deal with growing up.
Not that his personal story should warrant playing time but I really hope he gets a shot to showcase himself a little more.

if a guy isnt good enough to play then why is it the coach's fault? I will never understand this logic. Coaches want players to get better, they want fiercd competition for playing time, they want to put the best players on the field. If he isnt playing then what does that tell you?

Please tell me where in my post i blamed miles or any coach. All i said is i hope he gets a shot, which in this case probably means working harder to get that role.
And ftr yes I fully believe Miles is horrible at developing offensive players but I never speculated this was the case with Armand.
That being said I would wager if Miles recruited JFF, he would have him playing split end.

If he was that good he would be on the field. It's not like Miles or Henry would purposely not let him play. Landry and Beckham started as true freshman, Dural was supposed to play this year as well. Boone and Wright both jumped over Sheppard on the depth chart. It's fairly obvious that those guys are just better receivers. If he was as good as some of y'all think, they wouldn't be able to keep of the field

I heard the same. Big reason why Boone wanted to leave last year. Gonzales did play favorites, but Henry isn't like that and Henry has lots of playing and coaching experience, even at the pro level.
I would love for Armand to be a big time receiver. If he was that good they would absolutely play him. They gave him a scholarship based on his athletic potential, but that doesn't always translate well to being a good receiver.

One of the things it tells me is our staff saw no need for a tall receiver who can outjump any DB in the SEC and would be a weapon in RZ situations which would score more TDs and win more games and make more fans happy and if AW is so inept at this that we probably shouldn't have signed him in the first place and used the scholarship elsewhere or maybe that our staff can't take a prospect and mold into a useful contributor in a reasonable amount of time not to exceed five years and I'm in a non-punctuation mode.

So he battles Jlan for playing time but yet doesn't get any PT during the season at all?
You would think if they were that close he would at least get a bit of PT

Props to the kid, but no where do you mention his hands ... athletic ability does not necessarily translate to being able to catch the damn ball.

Flynn got hurt in VT game and split time with RP.
Lafell had terrible hands freshman year, got better before he left.
Hester, scott, and ridley all got better by the time they left.

Some people are just plain revisionist. Flynn played hurt with a high ankle sprain after the Va Tech game. While you can point to JJ and JL if you want I would put that more on Crowton than Miles. Flynn was still able to save Miles arse against Auburn and beat Bama throwing for over 300 yards after sucking in the first half throwing 3 picks, which I guess was Miles fault. I am no sunshine pumper but some of your arguements are just not very realistic.
