Our starting pitching will keep us in each game, but considering how effective Arkansas pitchers are in striking out batters, we'll need good approaches at the plate. We take the Sunday game and just hope our bats can produce a W with Lange or Poche on the bump.

Swept if we continue to struggle with runners in scoring position.

LINK

They have most HR's in SEC. -> Lange and Poche give up a dinger each but hold them to 2-3 runs in games 1-2.

Their pitchers have the most strikeouts in the SEC. -> our most often strikeout victims (Slaughter and Pap) will strike out many times and may see the bench as the series progresses.

I think chalk would be 1.5 wins for the weekend.

Tonight is going to be tough, hopefully Lange is on.
Arkansas leads the SEC in HR's & tonights pitcher has 40 something K's with only 2 walks.

Patience at the plate will be important.

If Lange is not perfect I don't see us winning tonight but we take 2 of 3.

Pretty much count on tonight being a shutout. We can't hit Friday pitchers and they have one of the best.

LSU loses Sat.

Hopefully we can squeak out a win Sunday, but I doubt it.

I'm hopeful this is the turnaround series for us bc we usually have Arky's number in baseball, but I have to fall back on coaching losing us a couple this weekend.
