Are we in an Aranda matrix?

I'm nervous... How likely is this scenario?... LSU top brass knows (and has known for a few days) Aranda is going to TX. LSU publicly makes him first good offer to legitimize plan coach O laid out in press conference in order to placate fans. Aranda plays along cause it gives him a little more leverage for TX negotiations. And then in a few days... he gone :(

Everything for O to be successful here hinges on whether not he can get Aranda to stay. Aranda should have been given the job if you were going to hire from within.
Hopefully, they tell him that he's the next head guy in 3 years when the repercussions from this hire inevitably come crashing down.

If Aranda continues to have success as DC at LSU, he will get a HC offer sooner than later, IMHO.
