or given to every player? Just wondering since the 3 that failed are pretty prominent members of the team, which would be unlikely if "random"

Curious as well... If they are random than that's some shitty arse luck.

Been looking for some information on it. Found the NCAA drug-testing site.

I always thought they were random but that may mean the timing of them not the player. I guess in any case it could be both the timing and the player but I'm not sure that they put 100 names in a hat and choose 3. Just my 2 cent. Not saying I understand it completely.

i dont think they are ever "random."

that wold be like finding a collection kit somewhere and saying, "damn, how about that, well lets go use it on the first person we see."

it sounds like some of these kids are letting the accolades go to their head and think that they are above the rules. sucks, but im glad Les is enforcing the consequences.

I guess drug tests are required by the NCAA.

From NCAA drug test site: LOL

Before consuming any nutritional/dietary
supplement product, review the product
with your athletics department staff:

? Dietary supplements are not well
regulated and may cause a positive
drug test result.
? Student-athletes have tested positive
and lost their eligibility using dietary
supplements.
? Many dietary supplements are contaminated with banned drugs not listed
on the label.
? Any product containing a dietary
supplement ingredient is taken at your
own risk.

It is your responsibility to check with the
appropriate athletics staff before using
any substance.

No Excuse!
