Could you imagine this team if KG was just a few months younger?

No, simply because they dont have the strikeout capabiity of the other 2

ETA: but they aren't far off

AR/ Coleman were better. Eades/ nola have the benefit of playing against the new bats but they are pretty damn good regardless.

Not yet. Coleman just dominated in 2009; SEC pitcher of the year.
He took his game to another level senior year.

Its too early to give them that title. This is only the second challenging series LSU has faced this season. Comparing to Coleman and AR is a pretty nice compliment, but they still have more to prove!

One thing I like about the current duo is their control. AR was often dominant but his control issues popped up from time to time and concerned me.

Just for comparison, Coleman had 2.93 era while AR had 3.04. Eades currently has 1.35 while Nola has 2.55

This is a good question. I would say no, but if they win a championship, I would change my mind.

We always love to elevate past players to a level at least a little greater than they should.

I would say they are very very close if not on par
