Soooo...seeing as how none answered, except to throw the usual temper tantrum, the answer would be yes?

I think of them as the "buck stops nowhere" crowd. Things just happen and no one is to blame.

Kind of like the federal debt.

It'll be quite the role reversal, Rick. The current negas will be the Jimbo apologists and the current posi's will be forever pro-miles and call out Jimbo.

It's a never ending cycle.

Spoiled children? Like the one's who think Miles went 110-32 because he coached at LSU instead of LSU went 110-32 because of Miles?

Im not a primetime supporter of Miles but I remember the 1990's, before Saban and Miles showed up?!? I also know we won a title in 1958 and were basically an 8-3, 7-4 program for 40+ yrs, but our SPOILED fans who can only remember the BEST 12 yrs of LSU football and think college football is an XBox game.

I've enjoyed the run and I hope the next guy keeps it going, but longterm winning aint easy. Hell Florida thought they made a slam dunk, cant miss hire when they brought in Muschamp and most of the LSU fans running Miles out of town now would have loved for LSU to run him out a few years ago and would have loved to have Muschamp replace him! Just becareful what u ask for!!

GEAUX TIGERS!! and thank you Les Miles for all you've done for our program!!

I love the question.

I more suspect that they don't get enough love in their lives that they have to vicariously hang on to a gentle father figure they've never met.

As for me, I want entertaining college football, and I want LSU to be perennially in the discussion of best teams. I don't need some cuddle pappy.

Did you get your participation trophy, because for the life of me I can't believe you ever earned anything in your life.
You sound like one of those, "Kiss and make it better, Mommy." types.

No, but they realize there are no guarantees in hiring a new coach.

Really, man? Les wasn't perfect but he worked hard here and he won a lot. To imply that the last 11 years was just him showing up is just unfair. I get it, keys to the Ferrari and all that but how many dudes over the last 11 years have walked into the same sweet deal and wrecked the whole damn thing?Maybe he's losing his touch. Maybe we are on a decline. Maybe it's time for a change, but to discount all the guy's done? SMH. Just wonder how many of you have been as good at your job over the last 11 years as he's been at his.

Maybe it is time to move on but there is no reason to bash him the way our fans have these past few weeks. He has done more for our program than any fan on here talking trash about him. Respect the guy

I honestly think this makes up about 2% of the fanbase. I think most people agree with you that he has done a tremendous job and we respect him, but it's time. Stop putting us all in the same group.
