I tried using the search function and couldn't find anything. Tried scanning thru old DandyDon reports and couldn't find anything.
Can anyone elaborate on why he sat out against TAMU?

Dellenger reported a shoulder injury and cited Bonnette as a source, NOLA.com and I think a few others reported a suspension. who knows.

He was on the sidelines in street clothes. No suspension

O and Pete didn't want him to break the Sack record, so he would stay hungry for next year....or he was banged up, either way

If he was suspended - he would not have traveled with the team to College Station.

Why didn't Fournette travel with the team? I saw Key and Dural on the sidelines. I found it very strange that Fournette who suppose to be one of our leaders wouldn't make the trip. Maybe someone with more knowledge about how this works could give me some insight.

I believe fournette was suspended for his pre-game skirmish. They just kept it hush hush. Just my theory. Why else would he not make the trip?

that was my thinking, but NOLA.com reported him suspended and other outlets ran with it based off that. I tended to go with Dellenger's injury reported though.

There is an SEC travel roster limit, I think it's 70 players. So I would assume that only players that have a real chance of playing will make that trip. You wouldn't waste a roster spot on a guy who 100% won't play, and you aren't going to bring guys along just to stand around on the sidelines. So I'm leaning towards an injury that they hoped would heal, but he was a gametime no.
Does anybody know if Beckwith made the trip? He was a 100% no all week, so that might shed some light

SEC Network showed a graphic of missing LSU players during the game Thursday:
Fournette - Injured
Beckwith - Injured
Dural - Injured
Key - Suspended
BTW, I did not see Beckwith on the sideline during the A&M game either.
