Archaic TV's at Concession Stands

Are the TV's so old that they can't show the game anymore?
Just curious why they didn't show the game on the TV's by the concession stands? I'm assuming it's either a game right's issue with CBS or another fan experience "enhancement."

A huge deal too given the use of only one register as well as having to travel to other concession windows to find the item you're looking for..

You miserable people are exhausting. LSU made the biggest comeback against an SEC team in the history of Tiger stadium , and you bitch about concession stands? WTF?

I thought bringing Aramark in was supposed to vastly improve the concession experience. Sounds like the same old experience. How much did Aramark get for this new contract?

Sadly upgrading TVs is not a monumental experience. Walmart $149 and I'm sure LSU can negotiate with Sony for $85 per TV when buying over 100

Hey jackass, I wasn't so much as bitching about the concession stands as I was genuinely curious as to why they didn't show the game yesterday but have shown it for the other games this year.
The other 10,000 threads that have been started in the Scoreboard and the Rant have sufficiently covered the historic comeback.

Funny. I was just at the game and at the concession stand I was talking to a guy next to me. We were both bitching about the price of concessions and I mentioned that he's paying 10.50 for his nachos and we have to watch on a tube TV that doesn't even show the game. $110 a ticket and that's what you get?!
Compare that to the Superdome in about the same price range and you have to wonder what the frick theyre doing over there at LSU's athletic department.

LSU planned on debuting a brand new “stadium vision” system that not only worked in TS but all of the LSU venues. They wanted it ready for this Fall and had actually removed the old TVs. Unfortunately there were delays in development and a decision was made to rehang the old TVs and try again next year.
The new system was an IPTV based solution that could live stream the game (along with other cool data) but TS was found to require a massive upgrade in cables and conduits in order to pull it off. The project became larger than anticipated.

I think the rabbit ears/ analogue models were decommissioned by the FCC about ten years ago. They're just there for historical value only.

The game was on just about all the TVs at the club level. The had the Astros game on and several other college games. It wasn't hot up there either.

I’m in section 242 and not only is the TV from the 90s and not showing the game, they took away the manda sausage poboy from my stand. Burn this mother fricker down.
