You would think a new coach, and one that runs a different system than we currently run, would want his own guys? I understand that coach O is a fit, but what about the others? And does Aranda have a position specialty?

Only change that needs to be made is to get rid of BDP coaching special teams.

I don't think there is a big issue.

He plays 1 gap, and man coverage.

He has coached 4-3 and 3-4 depending on the personnel he has.

He didn't play college football, and has been a DL coach and a LB coach.

He will coach everything and anything he needs for his scheme. . Raymond and O will coach techniques that they are good at.

Maybe Peveto and Moffit. But other than that the staff is rock solid

Are you trying to articulate that Coach Moffit is losing his "Midas Touch" on strengthening and conditioning with the LSU players?

This is the first time I ever heard of him being (possibly) removed after being a fixture in the team's success over a decade.

Aranda is the new DC, not the new HC. He doesn't hire and fire assistants.

Oh, and he's an LB coach.

Not me. Have you watched us the last couple years? We're the ones dragging arse late in the game against the better teams. Not the other way around like it used to be.

We need to steal the Strength & Conditioning Coach from Alabama - He is terrific, and Kirby Smart tried to take him to GA. and he was going but money made him stay at Bama

why?

the guy coached lb's last year and they played great. the special teams turned around by the ole miss game. I think the special teams were steeles fault.

and peveto is a GREAT recruiter.

you anti-peveto guys need to drop your crusade.

I saw an offense the past couple of years that could not bail out the defense minus Mett's explosive senior year. Although Coach Chavis is gone, you cannot deny what he said about LSU's inept offense.

I am aware of the 3rd and Chavis and Bama heartbreaks. When it is all said and done, the offense has failed LSU, coaching. His defense bailed out LSU's offense for years.

Going into 2016, offensive and special teams need work. As long as Miles is the Coach, Moffit is not going anywhere.

Are you related to BDP, or just senile? Did you not witness every pooch kick during the bowl game that allowed TT to start from the 35-40 yard line? Our special teams declined in every single category from the past few years.....FACT.

Anyone who wants Peveto back to coach Special Teams is an idiot.

Please look at LSU recruiting before you say dumb shite like this.

A simple hop, skip, and a jump over to the recruiting board should help you understand why BPD is still here.

Special teams coverage struggled early in the year for sure, but you do realize that this is the 5th year he has been special teams coordinator at LSU, right? And he has done pretty well the previous 4.
