seeing as how they do this for Bears games in Lambeau, I'd think they'd be used to it. Just an earlier start than anticipated

Based on his past experience and record, and his knowledge of football, I believe this guy is who we need to take over when coach Miles retires/leaves!

Man this season is setting up for one of the biggest letdowns in LSU football history.

I don't want to be negative....as a tiger fan it hurts....and I'm sure at kickoff the purple and gold blood will be pumping thru my veins like any other opener. But I've seen this song and dance before.

as George W. Bush would say. "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

I am so glad I don't go through life this pessimistic. It shouldn't matter if the glass is half-full or half-empty. The important thing to remember is the glass is refillable.

So let me get this straight....from that one sentence you gathered that I go thru my life pessimistic? The mid-season hype is most likely way too strong based on the product the last two years.

Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seems....and right now the fanbase needs to quit flogging the dolphin to pictures of Dave Aranda....just let the guy coach...why do fans have to put forth such unrealistic expectations for a coach who's never coached an sec game before?

The expectations were pretty much NIL with Steele. After watching what Chavis did with top notch talent, why is it unrealistic to think one of the brightest defensive minds in college football will have our top notch talent rocking and rolling?

Some expectations are completely warranted. The defensive should be stout this year. SImple as that.

Would you rather be in the position of anyone else not named Alabama? I will take the let down if it happens over not being relevant at all any day of the week!! Any idiot with a decent football IQ knows this team and this year sets up to possibly be something very special. Just live in it and stop being fricking negative bro! Live in the moment and if the let down happens guess what? It's only a game!

How did you feel going into the 2011 season? We all knew that season would be special and if not for the blunder in the BCSNCG it would have been. So give me 11' all over again and so be it!
