That Joe Aleva works for LSU and not the SEC. Aleva's job is to do what is best for LSU not what Sankey and Foley try to tell him to do. Now because Aleva was watching out for LSU (which is his job) Sankey is being a little girl about things and whining to the media. With every comment that moron makes to the media about LSU he weakens the public perception of the SEC.
Sankey is in over his head.

Sankey needs to be terminated at the end of the season. He is very incompetent and fails to not only establish a contingency plan, but he cannot even make a decision as a Commissioner of the SEC. Bottom line is he still has not accepted any responsibility from this mess. LSU did everything in its power to accommodate by playing alternate days including opening it's doors to Tiger Stadium. Everyone is pitying poor UF, but seem to forget the real Natural Disaster that has affected the residents of Baton Rouge.

Come Nov 19th, UF is going to experience a real Natural Disaster when a healthy Leonard Fournette destroys their defense in Tiger Stadium!

Stankey needs to understand the difference between pissing off an AD that is on his way out the door and one that is still around. Foley is yesterday. Alleva is tomorrow.

Screw UF and the SEC.
We bent over backwards before game, Florida tried to cancel the game, and the SEC was indecisive.
We lost a home game next year! They both should be kissing our generous arses!

I just thought it was real nice of Gary Danielson to let Sankey say anything after he owned his arse last weekend on national network TV.

Foley drew the 1st line in the sand and the game was not played as a result. He made Sankey look like a fool in the process. The best thing Sankey can do is shut up before he makes himself look even more foolish. I don't like the fact that we have to go to Gainesville in 17 and 18. This is to Florida's benefit. Foley knows this but he wants to put on a show of bitching about the deal anyway.

I think Sankey was doing exactly what he intended: appeasing Florida. He'd do the same for his other bosses, Bama and Auburn.

Sankey and Florida were in this together all along IMO.

That's why when you seen a statement from Foley (can't remember what day) you seen almost instantly that Sankey came out with a statement almost exact same time.

I was watching Finebaum I believe it was.

Sankey failed the leadership test. He let Foley "work him", and then was butt hurt when Alleva said nope.

Sankey looks really poor as a leader, so now he is trying to get himself out there in PR fashion, probably with SEC home office PR/leadership coaches that are Bama fans.

Can someone please email that fool finebaum a complete list of announcements and times of these anouncements by each university and the sec commish and where the storm was projected at each time along with recruits visiting Florida on Saturday and their vollyball team heading to NC and then ask him to explain how it is possible to believe anything other than what is bluntly obvious which is that they just flat out weren't going to play us!!! Sick of LSU being the red headed step child of the SEC. We deserve more respect than that. Sorry about the run on sentence I know my grammar sucks but dammit I just don't get it.

I was watching the show I believe it was Monday or Tuesday that Foley made a announcement then a few mintues later Sankey released a statement about the situation.

Just weird they would be released so close together if they were not were not working directly together.

LSU AD never released anything anywhere close to that time.

There doesn't seem to be anyone with any relevance out there to call in the show and take up for LSU... Ever since they announced the game would be played on the 19th it's as if everyone is grabbing there pitch forks and taking jabs at us as if we're being selfish for not wanting to play Florida on the road for that weekend and some even saying it doesn't really matter anyway since we probly won't win out.

Sankey showed he was incapable of making a hard decision and that he was following Foley's advise instead of listening to what Alleva had to say also.

Now Sankey is coming off as a pouting little boy by not thanking LSU like he did the other teams for making the game happen. If he screws up again he should be shown the door.
