thats the thing. He's not a reciever, he's a playmaker, and I can't see how he was any worse of a QB than JJ. If you wanted a mobile QB why not use him. He needs to be used in certain ways and no one on the LSU staff ever figured it out.

RS has been here 3 years and has been never used right. He has never attempted a pass after coming here as the highest rated dual threat QB. He had 3 plays in the BCSNCG. Why rot here another year?

That's because Shep never was a WR, Miles tried to create something that was never there. He is a playmaker and a fine one at that.

If Boone is leaving because of Gonzalez or to follow Gonzalez, then he's not coming back.
Shep should come back. Unless he does some amazing things at the combine, he would go very late in the draft, if at all. If we wants to play WR, he needs to improve. He's just not NFL caliber, at this point.
Having said that, I have always respected him and wish him well in his future endeavors.

I never bought that RS was leaving, dude was upset and wanting attention. He's coming back, he fricking loves LSU too much to leave on that sour note. JMO.
