From my understanding we only have 3 freshmen on roster who haven't seen game time. Does anyone redshirt this year? Or do we try to give underclassmen some play time to get the experience? And which do you think is better- game time experience or a year of learning the game?

Dude has glass knees

We're the ones taking a risk on him. If he can't handle us taking precautions on him then he can go have fun at Nicholls St

Hopefully Narcisse and Moffitt. I can't think of the freshman RB that I'd guess would be redshirting too.

freshman RB

There's only one freshman RB and he's played quite a bit in both games.

I'm not sure if I've seen Netherly play yet.

Uhhhh...too late. He'd have to have not played in order to redshirt

You can't redshirt the backup qb, what if Etling gets his bell rung and needs to sit out a series or two? I wouldn't trust McMillan

Thought they changed the rules. I was wrong. Supposedly the NCAA will review new rule change in January.

That's why the new rule was proposed. Try and redshirt and then a freak injury to starting qb would burn the redshirt.

Think it will be a good rule once the NCAA approves.

If I had known they hadnt changed the rule yet I wouldnt have proposed the 4 that I did

The fact that 17 freshmen have seen playing time gives recruiting a huge boost. That along with being NFLU.
