With Nola against a shite lineup

That shite lineup swept CSF, the best pitching staff in the nation, in the Supers, and is undefeated in Omaha. They are scrappy. I don"t care who is throwing, of your team only scores 1 run in a game, you can expect to win only 3-5% of those.

Nola shut them down. A bunt lead off on a shite throw, and another run on a routine grounder Bregman didn't get in front of.

That's it. I tought a no-hitter going in was a 15% chance to be honest.

Whatever though. We lost. It's over.

They take advantage of what is given, don't make many mistakes in the field and have pitchers who aren't overwhelming but know how to place the ball. They deserve to be where they are. I didn't think they would make out our of the super regional.

i really hate watching ucla play baseball.

also im not sure how well small ball would work in the sec where ucla pitching mistakes would end up in the bleachers.

Our problem was we fielded like a-hole because we were tight and then at the plate we tried to play homerun derby in a monster sized park. The second part is on paul and javi for not making adjustments and getting our guys to play good baseball

You wouldn't be complaining about LSU's need to turn to small ball.

People would still be bitching about the park, ball, and bats.. because those suck.

That's because you're dumb.

UCLA got the lead off on base 6 straight innings. They got 5 hits off of Nola in 8 innings. Nola wasn't just mowing them down.

Were the errors costly, sure. But so was the lead off pinch hit to start the 8th and the 16 pop ups that LSU hit.

Meh. And I'm being facetious about the no hitter.

But the errors fricked us.

The lack of hitting fricked us against UNC really.

Yes they do. They won. We didn't. Good luck to them.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I would've still complained, even though of course at the same time I would've been delighted if we'd won with small ball.

We dominated gorilla ball, but I agreed changes were needed even though we beat nearly everyone with it.

I love college baseball, and there should be some balance to the CWS game, whether LSU is winning or not.

The NCAA is trying their best to keep college baseball down. The number of scholarships is ridiculous and the rule changes have really hurt the game. When you make the bats like the minor leagues use but don't change the balls at the same time, you get .251 batting average teams winning college championships.

Yep, that's why attendance is up and more tv coverage than ever before.

Attendance is up nationwide because of the exposure through the media. People following teams like LSU and Miss State proved to ESPN that they would watch through their attendance and viewing the games that did get on TV. The NCAA hasn't helped build a quality product through their actions.
