This is a fan base that sees it's team compete hopefully for a winning season. Not a NC. Not a conference C. (1 in the Forties...last century fer Cur rice sake!) Not fer division championships ( again....1...last century) And a life time win record of less than 50%
Just wish we could play Chuck Berry 's "Wont you play with my ding a ling"over the sound system!

Living in MS, I went to the Egg Bowl a few years ago. I watched an Ole Miss fan grab a MSU fan's cowbell and beat the crap out of him. The OM dude got sick of it in his ear and beat the guy's face in. Very enjoyable and definitely deserved it.

Got me one of those foam hands with the wrong finger sticking out from an aggie last year, told him to bend over cuz I was gonna stick it up his arse if he didn't stop sticking that sumabich in my face...gave it back to him and he sat on it the rest of the game...so, I would take one of them thar bells if the person was ringing my ear off with it...

I'm not sure there are any other game traditions that are more annoying than the bells. I get it, it's their thing but it sucks. I cant imagine that at some point they havent been used like weapons either by MSU fans or by someone who grabbed one.

I go to state and am an LSU fan, did it two weeks ago actually haha.
One of my buddies came in ringing his cow bell fricked up, so I gladly took it from him, took the rattler out of it, and gave it back haha..
Eta: I have about 5 inches and 30lbs on the guy so I wasn't worried about him doing much.
