Anybody who knows the history of LSU and the green slime would rarely root for those bastards. They will outward try to hurt LSU whenever they can.Ask Dale Brown what he thinks of them. A lot of the alabama fans in the NOLA area are really 2lame fans. They alway tried to keep the Tiger out of the Sugar Bowl.
Thank goodness they are irrelevant now.Cheer for them if you will, but when they bite you on the arse remember they are still a snake.
TUCK FULANE!!!!!

I was in grammar school but I can still recall attending the 2001 super regionals and how condescending Tulane fans were to LSU fans. How anyone can pull for these creeps baffles me.

It's getting more and more difficult to work up a good hatred of Tulane all the time.

How in the world can any Tiger pull for toolame when they do everything possible to undermine us and also have serious envy of us???

Their efforts are so pathetic, they aren't even worth my time.

Tulane isn't what it once was. In any respect.

I'll pull for the weenies, ULLLLL too, just as hard as their fans pull for LSU. As in: nofrickingway. As toratiger puts it, you youngsters out there don't have a clue how bad the weenies detest LSU & EVERY chance their athletic dept had/has a chance to put the screws to LSU fans, they double up & laugh while doing it. I've seen Dale get mad before, but when the greenies pulled one of their stupid stunts before a game at the Dome one year, he almost came unglued & never forgave them. And, yes, their alumni dominate the Sugar Bowl Committee & they have never ever done LSU any favors. As to ULLL fans, they are just weenie fans lite.

i'd root for them in any other regional, like College Station or Tallahassee, but noooooo, the committee just had to put them in BR. them winning means the Tigers won't

They are envious of us, but you felt the need to take the time out of your day to sign on and make a post about them?

In fact, at least 25% of your posts are about Tulane. Makes one wonder who is envious of who.

I would generally pull for all LA teams, but the green weiner's fan base doesn't reciprocate when LSU is involved in that same situation...so, I have come to the conclusion that I would hope they can beat the grease hawks twice, just so the LSU Tigers can spank their green arse twice in one regional, and that would be the only reason I can think of to pull for them...

But, to answer the OP's question. I'd rather play Tulane just to show their manager how a team actually "kicks some butt"

Should be a good match up. Tulane's strength is pitching and UNCW's is hitting.

As to the OP's question, it would frankly suck losing to either, but it would stink more losing to Tulane. Beating either one of them or both is not a big deal in my mind.

Weekend Warrior 79:

I am certainly not envious of you who has such a pathetic life that you must analyze my posts.

Well they haven't done a very good job of it. They have have so much pull they couldn't get themselves in the Sugar Bowl in 1998.

Yes, because it took less than 2 minutes to click on your name and see the 20 posts that you have contributed; many of which involve Tulane. They obviously own some real estate in your head.

From the Tulane message board LINK

quote:

I spent all football season jumping up and down yelling that the SEC and the SEC West was over-rated and I was vindicated. I will now point out LSU has played NO ONE this year. Their OOC schedule would embarrass even the caricature of RD people have on here. I think we have a much better chance than anyone on here or in the professional sports writing world thinks because I think LSU and the SEC is over-rated (as opposed to know they were in football, I just don't watch enough college baseball to up the confidence level). We aren't a juggernaut but all we gotta to do is win two. If the phallic food loving illiterates advance out of our region I have no doubt they will eventually get smoked because they just aren't that good (technically haven't shown they are good because they have played NO ONE).

See, they do love our corn dog loving arses, after all.
Thanks for that Cub, just reinforces my dislike of them and my desire to pound their butts into the dirt at Alex Box twice this weekend!!!

WW79: There you go again admitting that in your pathetic life,
you have nothing better to do than to analyze my posts. Do you do that to all posters (you probably do.) Give it a rest-no one wants to hear your story. You obviously have NOTHING "earning real estate in your head". (What a clever saying!).

My wife used to have that bumper sticker when she went to LSU and was a die-hard LSU fan. Now her car has Tulane stickers all over it. Roll Wave.
