Anyone else listen to this interview and think that Canada didn't leave much of an impression on this kid? If he did, I didn't really feel that he conveyed that very well during the interview. Basically said Canada ran a very simple offense, and taught the basics when it came to QB development.

So you really didn't listen to the interview at all? Or heard what you wanted to hear?

Is there more from the interview for those that didn't hear it?

We must have listened to 2 different interviews. He said that almost every year of football in college and professional he has had a different offensive coordinator and Canada is one of his favorites. He said if he does get hired by LSU he will be rooting for the tigers

I'd prefer unbiased opinions, you know comments from people who don't have a Canadian flag as their signature image!

I mean, he doesn't sound like the most excitable person, but he didn't sound unimpressed with Canada.

I appreciate that, but seriously listen to the interview without your "I <3 Kiffin" shirt on.

Look I'm not trying to bash Canada, I just personally felt after listening to that interview that he liked Canada, but he didn't act like he was some up and coming offensive guru. Maybe I over analyzed the interview!

First someone really needs to tell Moscona that he is not funny.

Second O"Brien pointed out that Canada tailored the offense to the personnel. When he was at N. Illinois he was "uptempo no huddle spread you out beat you with speed" while at Wisconsin he was "more true pro style tightend, fullback and a halfback more complex running stuff" "a great attribute of Canada is how multiple he can be". He can adapt to the talent around him.

I missed a lot of the interview due to Moscona trying too hard to be boys with the guy and continuing to bring up reasons Matt hopes Canada fails so he can play certain songs/clips on air.

Funny but not a Kiffin supporter at all, If you look at stats of the last 3 coordinators Saban has had you would see almost identical stats. Now if you would have said Herman then you would have been on to something, because I really think we missed the boat on him.

Again this wasn't a bash Canada thread, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought after listening to the interview. I think Canada has a pretty good resume I just wasn't 100% sold that he was a knock it out of the park homerun hire.

Maybe that's it, its the first and only time I've heard the guy speak maybe it was just his demeanor.

The problem with the interview is that Moscona was trying to be best buds with O'Brien and it was really a childish interview to begin with.

That's not what I got out of that interview at all. He said he was right up there with James Franklin as the best OC he's played under

Herman was never coming as long as Texas was a possibility.
