Gonna catch the podcast.

Sure it will be a depressing show to pay respect to Coach O chances.

Or an apologists dream

Really nothing to melt about IMO. Any realistic fan should have accepted that this season was going to be a wash when Les was fired. Orgeron got our hopes up, but definitely not enough time to fix what needed fixing.

There was way too much shite talking going on leading in to the UF game and it bit them in the arse. Accept it and move on.

These dudes are hilarious. Jordy STILL pushing for O to get the job. Saying "We need to look at the full body of work"

I see some of y'all in the Huddle

Some of you are looking for a reason to bitch. He's not pushing for O to get it. He's just saying the Florida game was his worst showing. He'll get a sit down talk with Aleva Friday. And then LSU will go in a different direction Herman/Jimbo. I didn't hear either of them say Coach O deserves the job at this point.

Ummm, that is not what Coach O wants. His full body of work is horrendous

What? Should have won UF by two TDs (which was the spread I believe). We were at the goal line three times and got nothing. That is just poor coaching. Don't act like there was no way we were supposed to win that game.

The facade of this season was the most unfortunate part. The facade is Etling vs Missouri, Southern Miss and Ole Miss. Look back on some threads on here that made it sound like Orgeron and Etling were the answer to a 10-2 season. At the time, not many on here wanted to acknowledge that those 3 straight wins were against awful opponents.

"I've never beat the drum for orgeron!!"

Proceeds to try to tell us why this game was irrelevant to his chances to get the job.

They denied that theyve been pushing for Coach O

then followed up by saying you have to look at his full body of work, not just this game which they reminded everyone was his worst outing.

These guys flat out said they haven't been "beating the drum" for O

It's embarrassing at this point

I did. Others did. We all got to endure vulgar insults bc we said so. We were told we were not real fans, we were closet bama fans, pussies, etc.

It's sad that those people insulting us don't realize that we all want the best for LSU. Not burying our heads in the sand and being oblivious to many variables that served as warning signs doesn't make us anti LSU. Quite the opposite, actually.

Yep. And, Hunt was saying that the things that went wrong weren't O's fault.

Can you imagine how bad Miles would have been hammered had he been coaching that exact game? Jordy is simply unable to see past his bias and offer criticism.

Culotta had one good point. When you're trying to win a job it looks really bad to have the same kind of loss the previous guy got fired for....and he was right.

It was a very Les Milesesque loss.

His full body of work isn't horrendous at all. He held bama to 10 ahole. His offense set numerous records.

I'm on record to find someone else, but to say his record was horrendous is insane. Give me your address so I can come punch you in the face. Moron

Not sure how "bad coaching" had anything to do with a RB fumbling on 1st down at the 6 yrd line, the holder dropping the snap on a chippie field goal, the LT whiffing on a block on 3rd & goal resulting in a sack which resulted in a FG, or the same RB running the wrong way on 4th & one, in addition, fumbling again. Coach O has been lauded for letting his position coaches coach their players, so if any blame goes to any coach, it's the OL coach, the RB coach & the ST coach. Coach O managed the clock perfectly & would have left the gator with no time on the clock had the last play been a TD. Having said that, I am neutral on the HC choice but am not a hater of Coach O by any means, either. The man loves LSU & has worked his butt off.

Fumbles, botched field goals, this loss had nothing to do with coach O. I thought he called a great game.

OK so let's look at his full body of work including his stint at Ole Miss, which further downgrades his qualifications.
