He asked his pitcher,"why would you throw a meatball right over the plate to the best hitter in college baseball?" And he was pointing at Katz.

if you're talking about after he yelled at cox and was walking back to the dugout, it looked to me like he was talking to his catcher. they were looking at each other and it looked like the catcher acknowledged what he was saying, it was a bit unusual though. he threw several irate f bombs at cox.
