I heard Les say he wouldn't play next week. By the way, he was chop blocked. The tackle was still engaged up high when the RB hit him low. I hope he is okay.

Sideline reporter said he's done for the season. Mentioned a tendon. They also said the chop block was legal?? How is that possible?

It was legal because Monty was not engaged in a block when he got chopped. If you get chopped without being engaged already, then it's legal. If you were already engaged with a blocker and another blocker chops you, then it's illegal (ala Chaz Ramsey from Auburn on Glenn Dorsey in '07.)

How with all the roughing the QB, Hits on WRs across the middle, helmet to "helmet", or leading with the head penalties and scrutiny is this block still allowed?
