Posted this on secr with little response.

Baylor has a 400+ pound TE/HB/FB

Arkansas used Jason Peters as TE in the Past.

Eagles All-pro Offensive tackle Jason Peters TOUCHDOWN catch in college

Hawkins looks like he has soft hands.

That would definitely fill the Dillon Gordon void. People underestimate how valuable he was to the run game.

And #80 - dude is a stud. Our secondary has their work cut out for them.

Doubt it. Hawkins could play TE if he wanted to though. He was a hell of an athlete in high school. He played football, basketball, baseball and did track and field.

Drew morgan. He is a player similar to wes welker in the slot. Not gonna burn people but has great hands/route running.

So he is our version of Trey Quinn?

Good God when that play happened I had a flashback of JJ panicking and tossing it to Bama's LB

They are similar players. I think drew has the better hands imo, without looking at the stats.
