I hope we are close to 50/50, but they do have a big advantage with distance. Just hope we don't get drowned out.

Won't be near 50/50. At best, it could be 70/30.

Seeing as Wisconsin got 50% of the tickets and we got 25% I'd say they at least outnumber us 2-1 but they'll definitely have more "tailgaters only" than us. But I'll be there! With the strength of 10 LSU fans!

LSUtix: We are working on @LSUfootball away gm announcements on 7/8. The good news: all STH who requested on time will get at least 2 Wisc tickets.

They are the home team and got at least 50% of the tickets to a game in their home state. Why do you think it will be even close to 50-50? not a chance.

I'll guess we have 15,000 to 20,000 there.

Not a chance.

If I were LSU, my expectations would be exceeded if there were 25,000* in the stands.

22K LSU fans and 55K Wisconsin fans. 3K others.

I can tell you this: if the game had been played in Madison, there would be less than 10K LSU fans there.

Thank God for neutral site games!

I said this earlier but the ticket split here is far more heavily skewed towards Wisconsin than Houston was skewed towards us. Which I think is wrong. LSU is not like other schools. If tickets were split 50/50, LSU would've sold all of those tickets.

Wisconsin was alloted 13k and LSU 35k for Houston game.Wisconsin got 18%, LSU 50% of stadium capacity.

Wisconsin allotted 40k and LSU 20k for Green Bay game. Wisconsin got 50%, LSU got 25% of stadium capacity.

LSU got a better deal it looks like to me. A higher percentage of tix and a trip to Lambeau instead of hot Houston. Probably was negotiated smartly though considering I am sure they thought ya'LL would travel a bit stronger considering the venues, and especially knowing we had the Bama game also last season.

I am pleased that both AD'S seem to have given their fan bases a decent chance to get in the door. Sounded like Lsu folk who requested got a pair and they didn't let the big donors hog all the allottment. Same thing for UW. That is appreciated by the middle class folks like me.

I didn't know you all were allocated so little. I was there and it felt like you all had more than 18% of the stadium but that's obviously just me. Thanks for letting me know or else I'd keep looking like an idiot. I'd been looking for a chart that showed the split but I couldn't find any that were still online. Do you happen to know what the split was for your game against Bama in Dallas?
