Really wanna see Loch back. I accept that Latz will most probably be done until next year.

LSU is considering a medical redshirt for Lochridge. He's still experiencing pain.

Latz threw long tosses last week. So far, no pain. Hasn't pitched off the mound yet. He will not travel to Notre Dame according to Mainieri's comments about Latz at his luncheon last week.

at this point in the season. I don't see any reason to try to pitch latz again. Hopefully a full offseason to recover will help.

Reid has been as solid as anyone on the team. I'd think Lochridge would have a hard time getting his spot back healthy or not. As stated, Coach Mainieri has already mentioned a medical red-shirt for Lochridge.

I really believe that Latz could be a huge player for us if he can get on the mound a couple more times this season. He's got the talent.

Yeah, we need Latz to pitch if we're going to contend.

I've been critical of Latz before but if he were to somehow get something together by SECt/Regional play we could be looking at a much improved pitching staff

I agree. We can't redshirt him again. If he's able to provide any innings at a high level and pain free it's worth a shot.

I see them taking it slow with him and having him as a wild card come tournament time. However, i think he needs to throw a couple more mid weeks.

Unfortunately, I don't see him ever pitching significantly at LSU. Too many injuries and setbacks

Yes if he is ok from a physical standpoint. I wouldn't mind him pitching. I just don't think anyone can count on that this year and sadly perhaps ever.

What happened after the start against McNeese? I thought he was fine.

First time pitching in a game in over a year.... didnt think he was that bad. Didnt bean any batters. Pretty sure he hit high 80's.
